Easier Than Pie Cherry Poof

This is an easy, quick dessert, that tastes as good as it looks.

1/2 cup biscuit mix
1/3 cup granulated sugar
2 tbsp. butter, melted
2 eggs, beaten
1 cup milk
1/4 tsp. almond extract
1 21oz. can cherry pie filling

Beat together all ingredients, except cherry pie filling, for 2 minutes.

Pour into a pie pan, and spoon cherry pie filling over top. Do not stir.

Bake at 400, for 35-40 minutes.

Let cool 10 minutes, and serve warm, either alone...

...or with a scoop of ice cream. Yum!
